Main issue here is the gun violence. Sweden has highest gun violence in Europe. This is due to the refugees. But nothing compared to USA. Best is to avoid refugee dense areas.

Also currently inflation is high compared to others in the region.

Scenery I think NZ is better but never been there. But you can easily travel to Norway or other EU country for better scenery
