As a kandyan am very much proud of KCC.
Guyz sum ppl saying again n again KCC is nt a good shopping complex,also they r comparing it with skyscrapers in Dubai..........

I hv read all comments in this thread n what i figured out is u guys dnt knw hw to thank n positively think abt KCC n also the most brilliant investor Thusitha Wijayasena.

Personally i agree with Rasika Cz sum internal designs of KCC hs been changed according to their shortage of investments.Bt i hv visited every floor area of KCC n still it hs its unique style n beauty.

Also am very proud of Mr Thusitha Wijayasena,Cz hez a patriot Sri Lankan.I saw from the day they started thier constructions,whenever threz a religious or a national event in Sri lanka,they've hosted our national flags everywhere around construction yard.Still ppl hv doubt abt the KCC's future.Bt am sure kandyan ppl will never leave alone KCC....................

as architect. , i would say, this is awful!

I am amused why such a person who doesn't even have a sense of appreciation for a good design with a commercial and a cultural value claims to 'be' an architect!I've been to this mall several times and am shocked by the amount of thought and effort put into this to come out with such a SUPERB design!This is SURELY the BEST mall in Sri Lanka. And as a Kandyan I am delighted to have such a mall in Kandy. And Mr-so-called-architect first go have a proper look before criticising. because you are discouraging good investment in SL. From what I heard this design has been done by a singoporeon or malaysian firm with a renowned architect in Sri Lanka. I am a traveller and I must say that this mall is in the standard of High Class ones in Singapore,UK etc. CONGRATS ON A JOB WELL DONE KCC!!
