Tamil students held over bus bomb blast

The Army arrested around 20 Tamil students of the Moratuwa University at Medawachchiya and at Iraddaip Periyaku'lam in Vavuniya in connection with the bus bomb blast at Katubedda.

Police have already detained more than 30 Tamil students for questioning. It was found that brother of one the LTTE terrorists the police arrested is a Moratuwa University undergraduate.

Three more students with LTTE links were later arrested at Medawachchiya following a statement made by a suspect

It was also found that some Tamil students studying in Colombo and Peradeniya universities are actively involved with LTTE activities by way of providing logistics, spying, fund-raising and terror attacks.

Several other students of Moratuwa University were killed and injured in the bus bomb attack at Katubedda.

Almost simultaneously, LTTE terrorists attacked a civilian bus close to the Open University, Kandy.

Traitors....

The LTTE has brainwashed these students to do it....They also force them to do it , if not there parents and relatives in the areas controlled by LTTE will be tortured.....
And some times these students are helpless........I'm not trying to Justify their actions...But would like u guys to get into there shoes and see the situation.....

I feel sorry for those students.....Especially for the guys who are forced and blackmailed they may be helpless.........We are loosing a lot of talented folks due to this, and this would continue..........Fortunately i think we don't have these kind of students at our Uni.....Only God knows though.......
