I bought the above mentioned wireless router few months ago, when I bought my laptop. The router works fine. But since about a month, we noticed that there is noise when we want to take a call using our SLT phone (we can take the call), which is connected to the line along with the Internet line using a splitter. After we complained, SLT guys came over today & checked. As they guessed, the issues might be caused by the router. Because, when we disconnect the router & switched it off, that telephone noise is gone. Although I don't know much, I suspect this has something to do with WiFi. If anyone has ever faced a similar situation or knows anything about this, please let me know.

    Thanks

machan the problem is with the splitter. A spliter is the device that seprates vioce and packet data from the TP line. Change the splitter it doesn't cost much. Make sure you connect the telephone and router to the correct ports on the splitter. After you replace it should work fine.

    SOLVED

Friends, jst after I posted this thread, I replaced the SLT splitter with the one I got with the router. Because, SLT guys asked me whether I have a splitter. I said no, as at that moment I had forgotten about the router's splitter. & I came here & saw all the replies. Thanks guys. :)
