Watch Movies, Listen to News, and make friends on Skype and talk. Once you can speak English it becomes much easy to learn writing and Grammer. Spoken English is more important to learn first...

You only need good friends. who do not laugh at u when u got mistaken.

listen to the 7.00 pm sinhala news.again listen to the 9.00 pm English news dont look at the pictures on tv they may distract u.

try to read English news papers.newels

another thing, imagine some situation going to happen in near future, then imagine what u tell and talk with other people if u are in middle of that situation.
believe me this works rapidly if u try it harder.

    if u don't know a meaning of a word

just go to Google and do this ( lets' say the word u don't know is "feasible")

    guys, any materials ??
Learning a language is not like learning Particle Physics! you don't need huge books. Only one book you will ever need to learn a language and it is called The Dictionary!

Ways to learn English is everywhere around you. Make friends on Skype. It could be somewhat important and more funny to learn different pronunciation. For an example, English (UK) people, Americans and Australians speak English in different ways.
