Islam deserves NO respect from anybody. See how a member here is using a word from the quran (kufr) to insult non-muslims? Why would the quran, a supposed holy text even contain words like that? I'll tell you why, to divide people up and belittle non-muslims. This is the problem with Islam, it has NO respect for non-muslims, nada.

I brought this thing up before, and they would deny that kufr was a degrading term, but you see how a muslim here is now using it in that manner.

And its not the only situation, there are many other examples too, ones that a Muslim can use for their advantage... the main difference in Islam and other religions are:

1. Its officially allowed
2. As a result, It can be exploited as you wish

Maybe this was the idea from the beginning... maybe Allah thought "I'll give them a start in Q'ran, and then I'll create them in a way that they can actually make it happen"... what else is there to think? these are the only few possibilities of as to why a holy book even think of mentioning verses that can even remotely relate to violence..

Proof please. Children and teenagers cannot be given same punishment for the same crime as adults. That is well documented. For some crimes like rape, a boy less than 12 cannot be prosecuted.
You are still trying to prove that a child (of 9) can willfully give consent for sex, which is utter rubbish.

You take France for example(country renowned for human rights), a boy of 11 years can be prosecuted in the same way as adults for the same crime. It's true that you get juvenile prisons ( as quoted by Sri Lion), but still , it's a prison. The separation was done mainly for security and psychological therapy purposes. As for Aisha, This is not a question of giving will for sex only, rather a complete marriage contract, which is different from a playboy style scenario.
