real world example Excide bateries.... last 03 times my car bateries failed. after 25, 28,27 months.... eaelier it was at least 30- 36 months

1. Producing something that works at the minimum possible cost => max profit
2. Ensuring that the 95th percentile of the produced items lives up to the planned life expectancy => customer expectations
3. Warranty replacements without hassle => customer expectations
4. Excluding fragile/unreliable parts from the warranty and including the most reliable parts => no warranty coverage for bulbs, batteries, etc., but a 10–15 year warranty for things that don’t break
5. Minimum viable products to comply with regulations and not exceed them => max profit

Repairability is the victim here because it is not considered a necessity.
