that's one half of the problem, the LTTE operating from abroad is the other half.

are you plain stupid ? SL is one of the countries that signed to abide the Geneva convention. No elected government can ignore those without facing the consequences.

THE story of praba feeling by a ambulance was just a story made by AFP

he said, that story is not true
    he said
he got killed when the final assault was taking place..
    possibly near the lagoon..
that is why his body is found in a lagoon

Then check with your dad. He should know if we have DNA testing facilities in SL and how long the process takes.

    i am not stupid
AFP is the media which told about the ambulace feeling seen
today udaya nayanaykkara said to CNN IBN
that the story of praba flleing from a ambulance is not a story by army
just a made up story by AFP..
he said he got shot while fighting yesterday.. near the lagggooon
    anyway dont bother
mahinda will take care of this ,just as he took care of fools like david milibnad ..

Guys don't u think that the circumstances which lead to the body being "discovered" all of a sudden are a bit suspicious??

If he was with pottu & susei wen their ambulance was blown up,where are the burns marks & most importantly where's susei & pottu??

The body doen't look like one which was dead for 2 whole days at all but more like 3-4 hours maximum..

The single gun shot injury appears to have been made at point blank range judging by the size of the entry wound & the exit wound..

so feel free to comment here..
I dont really care. as long as he is dead!

from those, you get a DNA print of praba. That has to be matched with a DNA print from the body they recovered today. Doing that in 6 hours is just impossible. Last time I checked, there is no CSI : Wanni.

6 Hours I'm not so sure.. but there may have been preparations for something like this way before, which is possible.... for example they may have been collecting DNA samples from those Praba's private locations, and sent for analysis and to categorize how many DNA samples are a match to each other!

Like... if you've collected 200 DNA samples from those locations, lets say when compared to each other there will be few samples that has a huge matching rate.. so based on that there may have been few samples prioritized to be matched against a real sample of Praba when the time comes!

If something like that was done earlier with the gathered DNA samples, then that could have saved a lot of time!

exactly. This means, the man was caught on saturday and tissue samples were sent on saturday itself for testing and the results came back either sunday night or monday.
Like the other guy said, praba was alive from that time and executed only today.
Probably after they got the results back positively identifying that it really is praba.

dead thamai..but what news I got from a reliable source in army intelligence was that all 3 were caught alive on saturday itself....
thats why apparently mahinda came back hastily from jordan on sunday itself..

but this news had leaked in to some countries like UK & India & UK had gone to the extent of demanding mahinda that he should be handed over to a 3rd party at once

thats y they had killed him today morning with a single gun shot at close range to the head..just like they did to rohana wijeweera

But the word is,pottu & susei are still alive & being interrogated by the Military & not dead as they claime them to be...Its just a matter of time before their bodies also appear all of a sudde just like prabha's

The whole ambulance story was a load of bull to cover up their capture

adow eaka ehemada?? matath oakama aranchi unaa ne bun. arun dennage pukata thamaii wedi thiyanna oani:D
