First few minutes of this documentary fills me with NOSTALGIA man.

There was a rubber tree at a corner of our yard and me and grand pops used to tap the tree time to time and there was a coconut shell placed below that cut of the tree. Loved that smell coming via latex.

Ah, I was loving to collect the solid state of latex that formed along the cut path of the rubber tree and smell it afterwards and keep it in my pocket.

And also I was enjoying seeing the latex droplets collects into the coconut shell and when no one is around I love it touch it and feel that liquid latex. ( I was being scolded if i got caught )

Thank you for bringing this sweetest nostalgic memory. Now the grandpa has gone, That tree has dead, Busy boring retarded complex life. I miss those days of my childhood.

Massive rubber estates have been cutting down and constructing hotels / restaurants or other buildings in it, IDK how they get the governmental approvements. Most of those estates are state owned.
