First of all I would like to make this clear that this thread is not for anyone who has no connections to APIIT and the purpose of this thread is to inform all the APIIT students who are members here about the incident which is about to happen at the end of February..
And this is not just a rumor it is a fact with evidence...
Some of our junior students 1 year 1st,2nd and 3rd semester student have received a letter from APIIT saying that there will be a major change in APIIT time tables. According to that letter the lecturing hours that a first year student will have is just 4 hours per week and for the 2nd and 3rd year students it will be 3 hrs per week... And all the 1 1/2 hour lectures will be reduced to 1 hour lectures.. which in my opinion is good since is is hard to concentrate on double sessions. however I do not see any sort of a good side in reducing the number of lecturing hours.. According to the letter they say that this is to make all the courses following in APIIT parallel to the courses conducted in Stafford shire University. And they also say that the students must use the remaining time to do self Studying and researching... I would Like to ask you all Why would we go for a uni if we can self study we would have done an online degree instead.. and it would have been cheaper also...
And the rumors about shifting the BABA batches to Access towers are confirmed lies according to the administration department... Which makes me come to the conclusion that APIIT is no longer a service but an Business organization that is profit oriented... Already us, Students of APIIT have problems with space and they have been stuffing new batches in to the building as everyone can see is well over its limits. and the facilities they provide is getting worst everyday.. But yet we stay shut because APIIT sure has a very good standereds because of the number of projects and presentations we have.. But now all of this have been changed... it is not fair for them to cut down the lecture time like that to fulfill there business needs.... I would like to ask everone who reads this,, If your a Student of APIIT please be aware of this fact and raise against it... Because we come here to study and to get an academic qualification that will count.. and we pay a lot of money for that so please think about this and do share your views and information about this matter....
