Manufacturers from China began a new race, now with the capacity of the batteries. So far unknown to us Oukitel, is said to be working on a new phone that will have a battery that has 10,000 mAh. The tests claim that this battery could last a week. This is by far the largest battery to be installed in a smartphone so far. In fact, such a battery is rarely found even in 10-inch tablet, not a smartphone. So far, the biggest battery (or two) is on Gionee Marathon M5, also Chinese smartphone.
Based on the capacity, this battery will easily be able to stand up to a few days on a single charge, but with one major drawback – its charging will last much longer than the phones with smaller batteries, or if the phone with a 3000 mAh lasts three hours, here it will last three times longer. Of course, all this applies if Oukitel doesn’t make decision to implement faster charging.
