If you are in the last few years have been in Sarajevo and went down the main street, you are in a corner of the dog and noticed a man sitting on a big black bag. If you met them this winter, certainly is struck in the eye and to the man still sitting on concrete or a piece of cardboard, while the dog is always sleeping on the bags in which the quilt. This man is named Ramiz Delic, a dog is six months Uncle. Both live on the street.
Ramiz Delic RVI. During the war he was wounded in the leg and therefore always walk with a crutch.
"My leg hurts and hard to walk. Often sit down to rest. Over time, the man somehow gets used to that. "- Said Ramiz.
The only source of income is a disability benefit from the whole 40KM per month.
Ramiz says it can not understand that can not possibly find accommodation for himself and Uncle.
"In addition to Uncle, I have none. People have been offered accommodation, but only for me. No one even in the backyard does not want a dog. I will never accept. Uncle would never leave. He is my faithful friend and only family. Without him I would not have survived the winter in the open. On formidable minuses on warmed me and helped me to wait for morning. "Ramiz explains his love for the dog.
When asked why, and how he became homeless honestly replied that I was guilty of all. He wants only to find temporary or permanent accommodation for himself and Uncle. He says he would be happy if they at least had an old car or van in which he and Uncle could spend the night.
"Wherever you lie down, bothering someone. Many nights we were forced to sleep in the snow. Sarajevo knows my whole story, but no concrete help. On the other hand, neither I nor Uncle would not survive the harsh street life that is not good people. "- Ramiz concludes his story.
Will we continue to go past him? Do we care what the RVI, which has an income of 40 KM and they do not want to leave best friend? Do we like this?
