U / M / C (The under Ground Metal Circle) the only place for original metal music in the country. U / M / C already has made a bigger impact in the country by even shocking some early started so called organizations for rock and metal. U / M / C is all about been free in its won words. The main aspect is to build up Sri Lankan original Underground Metal music up to an international standard. Rather than let them roam on their own to go on a wild goose chaise and waist their time and effort. U / M / C‘s objectives are very clear.

Building up the fan base and the culture of metal in Sri Lankan music.
Guidance to all who wish to lean the true craft of metal music.
Teaching the international standards and its atmosphere.
Building up bands / musicians, quality in recording and in performance.
Marketing the products of the bands and musicians up to an internationally recognize platform.
A favoritism free equally treated place for all types of metal musicians and bands.
Providing the Freedom to express the thoughts/ feelings/ ideas/ and needs of the metal musicians and bands.
A promising brotherhood among the U / M / C and groove digger record label members.

U / M / C stand out as the only institute for metal music in whole south Asia. The tribe is more than a record label and it’s more than a set of people who are trying to make a difference, it’s a place where people fight for the freedom of their won rights in the culture of metal and it’s a place of revolution and change of the present working type system. The huge range of bands / musicians / fans in U / M / C stands out to be one whole team at work. U / M / C cannot be stopped since the revolution of original music has spread among the living kind.

So where? After all the hype, UMC just collapsed didn't it? It's what happens when people go around badmouthing other groups that are trying to do good for rock in the country. Put aside your petty differences. Underground metal? All metal in this country is underground. Do something for the greater good of music, without starting up groups that cannot even be handled.

You are right machang. There are only few bands left who are good at doing it and admire other bands work. Even in TNL Onstage and Rock Saturday they always go around badmouthing about other groups.
