Sir, I'm in a doubt right now and your kind guidance is much appreciated here.
I talked to a software engineer yesterday and according to her it's pointless to start learning a subject like cyber security without having the basics of IT and it won't be easy task to find a career in the field without having a related degree.
Even though I learnt some computer languages I don't have much knowledge in IT.
I can continue the course until I get the certificate. But what will be my ultimate result, this is what I'm thinking right now. I'm sorry for asking this because this is not something related to the subject.
But I feel like asking from a expert like you.

If you have a fixed goal or dream with commitment and you are following the right path, nobody can say you can't learn and become a master in a new subject/field/area. There are so many living examples around us, and so many people have done this before you.
This is my prediction. Time and the level of skills depend on your determination, commitment, the way you follow, and your other soft skills (i.e., logical thinking, analytical thinking, focus, etc.). You can apply this for anything in your life.
Many people don't see any improvement in the first few months, so they become demotivated and give up. I have work experience with special categories of people who have overcome and mastered their field. The key elements I see in them are determination, courage, sheer will, self-discipline, emotional resilience (mental toughness), and critical thinking. Nowadays, if you have enough money, you can collect any type of paper qualification for money but the 99.9999999% of those qualifications don't develop the skills what i mentioned above. That's why we see there are lots of people who have paper qualifications but they can.
