මේකෙ Special Edition එකේ නොවන ඒවත් තියනව, ඒවත් එක්කම දැම්ම ඔන්න.
Worried that consumers don’t have already enough choices in the realm of transportation appliances, Toyota has burst forth with a special edition aimed at buyers interested in putting a smidge of panache in their commute. Based on the Corolla S Plus, the 2016 Corolla Special Edition shares that car’s 1.8-liter four and CVT powertrain but cranks—by maybe a quarter-notch—up the excitement and adds a little exclusivity to boot, with production capped at 8000 units. Three exclusive exterior paints lead the charge, with buyers given the choice of Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl, and Super White. (Truth be told, Super White isn’t so super, and it’s also available on the regular Corolla S Plus.) Exclusive gloss-black 17-inch aluminum wheels (the lowly Corolla S Plus rolls on 16s) sit at all four corners, and a bangin’ “Special Edition” badge is applied below the Corolla wordmark on the trunklid. Inside, the basic black interior gets red stitching on the seats, armrest, steering wheel, and shifter. The dashboard and door trim get red accents, too. It’s a familiar treatment, but we’ll admit it’s well-executed here. Unique floor mats are emblazoned with the Special Edition logo. Finally, as with most of the not-special versions of the Toyota Corolla, the options list includes Entune audio with navigation and app functionality, as well as a sunroof.
