Toyota Rush or Avanza ?

Hi friends,

My parents are planning to buy a (brand new) 7 seat car from Toyota. Right now they are leaning on:

Avanza 2017 (petrol) - 68.5 LK
Rush 2017 (petrol) - 85 LK

Are these prices looking good?. Anyone knows any native problems of these cars?. They were made in Indonesia.

How about resale value of these cars?

Any other different (brand) 7+ seater models available around the same price?

Any idea/comment will be greatly appreciated.

Both share the same drivetrain i suppose???....does Toyota lanka provide toyota rush anymore to local market?? For that kinda money both wont worth the money... hv used avanza fr a small time(a previous generation one) its a nothing vehicle and a absolutely pain in the ass to resale for 85 lacks there are more options fr you....if they have 3SZ engine it doesn't good on fuel and performance....

why do not go for a better second hand vehicle like Montero or Prado..?

That's true for old Rush. New one should do better. 2017 is a complete model change including chassis, body and power train. I don't think anyone in SL should be able to review it yet since the car is very new and not so common.

Both share the same drive train mcn...that 3sz engine is rediculous one it does 7-9/10 kmpl in town in outstation driving, well its the same figure....pulling power can be compared to a bullock cart ,what a machine !!! but have to admit its bulletproof and reliable....
