sorry bro I do not see much of a difference...*YOU DO NOT NEED A NEW SPLITTER TOO

6dB or below noise margin is bad, it will experience no synch or intermittent synch problems
7dB-10dB is fair but does not leave much room for variances in conditions
11dB-20dB is good with little or no synch problems (if no large variation)
20dB-28dB is excellent
29dB or above is outstanding

best thing to do now is wait for FTTH connection, ask from them when can it be expected in your area.. Trust me I suffer from this little speed problem too but what to do.. I tried everything I even know some people who works at SLT and they couldn't do it since I have this packge I tried to get the 8mbps... now they've doubled speed. still I'm at 4

Thanks buddy , we are in the same boat , i think fiber is available now, but have to pay 25k or 30k initially

Dialog 4g is fine,, but i always prefer a wired connection, i guess most do.
Lets hope this new government makes a change in TRC department

Check this again at 7Am , 11Am, 6Pm, 10PM if snr stays like that without changing that is the maximum speed you can obtain... absolutely nothing can increase that. In your case I think SNR will drop after 6Pm can you check with your neighbors if they got adsl?
