Nilmini critical after motor accident

RAGAMA: The condition of popular film and tele drama actress Nilmini Tennakoon injured in a motor accident is critical, Ragama, North Colombo Teaching Hospital Director Dr. M. Rajamanthri said.

He said the victim's liver was seriously damaged and she was still in the ICU. The actress, a household name for her teledrama roles, was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday around 7.30 p.m. following a road accident while she was returning after from a shooting assignment, on the Colombo-Kandy road near Weliweriya.

Several police stations in the Gampaha division when contacted by the Daily News were unable to provide details of the incident.

Happa! Accidents hariyata... I think when issuing driving licences, some other sequences should also be checked ne? For instance, balanna Bus drivers la godak aya pisso wage yana hati! They should be educated to think tht they are risking other ppls lives ne?
