Troops of 59 Division operating in the Mullaittivu jungle have dominated a part of the Kumulamunai village this afternoon, 11 November, reaching another significant milestone in the Wanni liberation offensive.
Security forces dominated a part of the road running between Tannimurippu-Kulam and Kumulamunai earlier and continued their military thrust to enter the strategically important township, Kumulamunai, located 13 Km south of LTTE heartland, Mullaittivu town - Defense Ministry.
