there are viruses especially created for ubuntu.....

which are harder to stop...coz ubuntu is open source....both people who hack it...and people who try to defend it...have equal rights...and equal info...

no OS is safe....there is a virus created for it definitely.....only mac OS has a lower amount of dedicated viruses.....believe it or not...linux has the most.....

the professors who teach linux at unis in sri lanka and trying to force their stupid ideas into students.....such as no virus for linux etc.....

dead wrong.....the very REASON its open source makes it the bigger threat than windows....

windows has to be exploited to gain access.....unless you have the latest version...most older ubuntu versions are the most unsafe....coz its source code is left open to the world....for anyone to find a way to sneak inside....

Mac OS is much better in terms of security and content....

based on fixed problems...you can guess how much is generated and how much is still out there and not fixed....

No virus. Worms tiyenawa. But ewwata deploy wenna godak amaruyi. Upto data nam 99.99% safe.

LMAO....not according to 2008 Q1 reports.....

Windows has lesser vulnerabilities than ubuntu.....and even thou windows has only has very high level vulnerabilities in its system....ubuntu has even more unfixed holes for a competent hacker/cracker to exploit.....
