In fact, it is quite difficult to find an investor for an idea-stage startup unless you have a great track-record of being a serial entrepreneur. Try to get to at least MVP level by bootstrapping. Further you get from the MVP level, higher the chances of getting an angel investor. For instance, if you can get at least few paying customers for your product that would greatly increase your chances. Also try to get incorporated as a C-Corp in the US so that you can easily issue shares.
