If yo going to the UK try to go to da Uni.. not for Colleges.....and if u gt an idea like u gonna earn wat evr da money u spent for yo Studies.. dats kind a dream... dats all i cn say.. if u cn get a wrk permit like PSW (Post study work) or HSMP (high skill migrant programm) den u cn earn dats money... otherwise no point....

psw will likely end next year (in 2011)

hsmp was a old program, hsmp was added to the tier 1 (tier 1 general)

now tier 1 general is closed (because of the cap)

if you look at the number of points needed to qualify for tier 1 general students can't really get the required number of points to qualify

what about new uni fees? that also applies only for intakes after April or have they already increased??

international fees are decided by the individual university not the government

normally every year there is small increase

its not 100% confirmed but its likely the government will add new rules

main points

No psw (2 year post study work) for students.
English language test showing competence at intermediary level B2 - a step up from the B1 currently required.
Students will have to leave the UK and apply for a new visa to further their studies, and show evidence of progression to a higher course.
Limiting the entitlements to work and sponsor dependants.
No work for student dependants.
