I am not UNP supporter this is my personal unbiased opinion regards with this topic


Wickramasinghe must resign as party leader of UNP undoubtedly.
My option is Sajith premadasa may suits for UNP Leadership based on few factors


first he is a sun of former president Ranasinghe Premadasa.


Second UNP still surviving election upon R.Premadasa's voting base.
Third besides what ever Sajith has done in past during his fathers terms of office as executive president

Sajith done many good things for downtrodden in last few years including social services

so no in UNP need champion of common people as their leader nor high born radala person nor so called highly educated English speaking western puppet just like ranil

Good points machan..but I am still skeptical about Sajith..... Mainly, he is a Nidan Hora....
but compared to others only other choice would be SF...
but that bugger is Irascible..not a good quality for a leader...

UNP is the biggest political party in Sri Lanka

no one can against it restricted it or dissolved it only you can defeat them in elections .
Do you remember how many parties are formed against UNP ?
Bandaranaike founded SLPP in 1950s after dispute with UNP with Nationalist Ideology.
What happened to it now today ?

Rajapakse Founded UPFA with alliances of small parties to defeat UNP and it does that already twice but what happened to it after 2015 ?

now again Rajapaksa founded SLPJP to same purpose as he does in 2005 and 2010 and he did it again in last provincial election but what happen to it now ?
