    You can do this to pages :D But I don't know how to make it work with your Profile Picture :D
    You have to know bit of html thinngy :)
    This is how it goes

    Upload the animation to a image hosting website and get the direct link (eg :-http://www.mypixelspace.net/imgs/img01/ok8Ec58Ks6.jpg)

    Code:
    <fb:fbml>
    <img src="http://www.mypixelspace.net/imgs/img01/ok8Ec58Ks6.jpg">
    </fb:fbml>

    that code inserts the image... now on how to put that to your profile tab...

    on the search bar above... look up static fbml and click add to page... select the page you want to add an animation to... then after doing so... go to your page... click edit page... search for the fbml then click edit... name your box what ever you like... then paste the code on the text field next to FBML... then save changes...

    whooooo... hehehe... next... go to your page... click the plus tab and then click the one with your box's name... i named mine jhenvinne24 so i clicked that... then you should see a pencil like image... click on that and click add to profile tab... and there you go...

    This was posted by a FB user called Ervinne Sodusta :D

    But still I don't know how to do this to you profile pic since you can't use fbml in the Profile Pic :lol:

    Don't PM me regarding this :eek: If you have a question please post it right here :oo:
    Just type 'static fbml' in the search bar in FB and add that application to your profile
    After that go to your created page where you want to add the animation and click 'edit page' ( You find this in the bottom of the page I think) :oo:
    Upload the image in to a image hosting website and get the direct link and
    <fb:fbml>
    <img src="PASTE IT HERE">
    </fb:fbml>

    Change the extension to '.jpg.gif' and upload :D

    BTW It's how they have done it. Don't know if it works
    BTW I heard that FB doesn't detect tiny animations and they won't be converted to jpg
