My car is way older than that given period. 😅

That post overstates things a bit but tbh if you’ve got a 10 million budget there are solid brand new car choices these days, there’s really no reason to settle for a 10yo car ignoring the reality of wear and tear

Not the same variant, they get a 1.5L hybrid I think. More tech features and creature comforts

But same design and build quality.

It’s not as if they have separate production lines with one being fully automated assembling top quality parts and the other using an underpaid Indian who manually tightens bolts and applies sealant by hand

Same factories, same assembly lines, same workers, only difference is the variants with different drivetrains and optional additions

Suzuki Fronx – Build Quality Differences

    Same for Both:
    - Same platform, chassis, and structure.
    - Built in India on the same assembly line.

    Better in Export Versions:
    - Extra rust protection (thicker underbody coating, more cavity sealing).
    - Slightly thicker panel and reinforcement metal in certain crash zones for stricter safety standards.
    - More safety features (6 airbags standard in many markets, stronger seatbelt systems).
    - Premium interior materials (softer dashboard inserts, better seat fabric, neater stitching).
    - Extra sound insulation (quieter cabin, less road/tire noise).
    - Stricter QC (tighter panel gaps, fewer rattles, better paint consistency).
    - Upgraded suspension tuning and higher-grade tyres in some markets.

    Bottom Line:
Export models feel more refined, quieter, and slightly more premium, with small structural reinforcements,
but the core build platform is the same.

Sri Lanka is an export market and if what AI saying is true Sri Lankans are getting the "better" version seeing as we're getting the one with 6 airbags
