VGA and Hard Disk Problem??? HELP ME GUYS!!

    Anyway the base of your trouble may be your 'EAGLE' brand. They are usually cheap but they are junk. To avoid problems from your father better to buy a good vga with 3 years warrenty (say Azus). So that you can avoid such problems hopefully for 3 years.:rofl:

    However, the two cards I had the problems with RAM going bad (Radeon 9700Pro and 9600Pro) were both from Gigabyte...They are a tier 1 manufacturer, so I dunno...I guess it's more luck and temperature than the brand...
    of course Tier 1 products will give a slightly better performance and quality such as good cooling etc.

    Nope...this is problem inside the RAM chips of the VGA card; NOT a problem with the VGA card. I have heard that some people replace memory chips on VGAs, but don't know for sure...maybe you can try and find out.
