    Where I'm now
I suspected that :D Inno3D is known to reduce fan speed at temps to make their VGAs sound less making them silent solutions but keeping the VGA hot.Actually VGAs can keep upto 100C but it is not good for the lifetime. All you need is to edit the fansettings in BIOS then flash it.

You haven't had a long run in this business for you to know what you want bro.:D
So lets keep up.Download a BIOS editing program then a flashing program.
    Get the BIOS.
Edit the fan settings according to temps.
reflash BIOS.So easy. You can put the BIOS booting screen into nVIDIA 8500GT to Dreamworks_naveen and stuff too but thats extra.I'll put some links to you.

Even though you guys bark about nVIDIA so much, they dont provide any BIOS flashing utility like ATI,(they themselves have windows and DOS flashers) nor support it.:P

I dont think you have a floppy drive,so we go the flash drive way.You have to make sure your USB drive boots up on your mobo.Read the guide I gave you.Read the part on making a USB drive bootable, then check if it works.
    Then run nibitor 4.0
    Tools -->read BIOS -->select device.Save the BIOS.As stock BIOS.
do it again and save it as mod BIOS.
Keep a copy of stock safer and put a copy into pen drive.
In nibitor file-->open BIOS select mod BIOS then goto temperature tab.lower the temps of fan speeds or make the full use of fan speeds.
DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING YOU DONT KNOW.
In the boot settings tab you can have some fancy text changes, mod ONLY THEM.ANYTHING IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND,DO NOT TOUCH.
    save mod BIOS.
Then comes the hard part flashing.

    Any problems?
And please remeber I am an ATI fan + ATI user,we have windows utilities and much easier utilities.I may not help you in some cases coz I don't know what you get.So try my advise at your own risk.

In my experience,I flash My VGA BIOS b4 starting a new game.I have modded a gaming BIOS ,hybrid mode BIOS and a power save BIOS.When I install a game I flash the VGA ,usually in 1 or 2 days it is finished then into power save.Hybrid mode have low 2D ettings and high 3D settings. You can make like that when you are familiar :D

8500 is not that good ne.. :baffled:

series lower cards arent the best.
Anyway if U want a cooler go for cooler with a fan. silenced coolers can sometimes become crappy if u dont have AC :P
