Well, Addiction is not only my problem.. its a prob of all the ppl who surf the FB and infact , i just visit EK once in awhile which doesnt mean that im addicted to this.. Besides , Do u compair EK with FB ?? How stupid ! Shows off how far u could think

U think internet is there only for jobless things eh ?? Then , uve mistaken buddy.. Atleast do u know how much u could do on the net ?? I repeat , i wasnt toking abt myslf.. i was representing the whole Sri Lanka.. n according to my point of view, the government is gonna do the right thing, something valuable for the country.. And, i dun think dat bangladesh has been blocked FB coz my sis comes online thru FB on Bangladesh Wifi.. Also, Recently i heard that Paskistan already has unblocked FB due to some reasons..

nope the govt's nt gone block it.. since mobitel dialog airtel has 10year agreements.. and even installed a proxy with fb which is approved by the TRC.. + the world bank Funds for research..

well there are muslim countrys that has not banned FB sutch as dubai, Southi Arab, Afganistan, Iraq, and all..etc..

its only blocked in Pakistan ,Syria,and Iran.
(China, Vietnam,due to Communism)..

if they are born islam if its banned for them they must know not use them and its there duty..
and there rules must not be a threat to our freedom since we are not a part of them ....
if i was born Muslim i would leave it without brushing out is faults..

1) Distracts students from studies.....(well the whole internet does...but at least we can save the girls their studies....)

2) Not good for security...i heard stories of whole companies being hacked....by JUST using facebook....

3) Facebook is the major spamming site...advertisers use your info on your page to spam you...

4) The whole world hates facebook.....coz of its privacy issues...

5) Facebook is gonna close down very soon anyway....

6) a new site called Dispora is gonna be up soon...fully free.....social interaction site....your page is under your full control.....it will be like linux facebook...

Well why can't the government just let the people decide what they want without always trying to control them?? Isn't that what freedom means?
If the people doesn't want something they'll not use it.

I myself isn't a huge fan of fb but this is just ridiculous!!!! Wonder what stupid reason MR gives for the ban....National Security(They can fight a war with fb online but afterwrds fb is a huge threat!!)????
