Machan If you are new to the subject then install on a separate HDD because you may end up with a Windows reinstall and data loss.

Downloading is not the problem finding the version which will work with your hardware and patches for them is the main task. Check the links i have given you machan. There are lot of methods to run Mac OS depending on your hardware.

    Chck these facts too...

    Advantages

    • Many people consider Macs easier to use. As the software and hardware are all designed by the same manufacturer, Macs are more integrated than Windows systems which have to support a broad range of hardware.
    • There is a much lower risk of security problems and computer viruses.
    Disadvantages

    • Apple Macs are generally more expensive than equivalent Windows systems.
    • Although the most important packages (such as Microsoft Office) are available, there is a smaller range of software and add-on peripherals for the Mac than for Windows.
    • The University uses Windows rather than Macs in almost all departments. As such we can offer more support to Windows users than to Mac users.
    • Although we make services standards-compliant and accessible from any platform wherever possible, some of our services don't operate or are more difficult to get working on Macs.

bt if u go thru more in that article u can see this content.

We generally recommend Windows systems rather than Macs, for the reasons above. If you have used Macs before and like them, you should be fine buying one. The University works hard to make its software and services work on any computer, but there may be some specialist software that is available for Windows only.

and btw dis article is from Bristop University.

Acronis not supporting Mac OS X, If you really want to use acronis then can use partition hide method and install the OS and hide other partitions.

Sure i can, but machan its totally depending on your hardware. Each release is different and released for specific hardware with different kernel.

About patches if you got a SSE2 machine then you can try such release. But its not really working well like in a SSE3 machine. If you have a 90nm then you are have SSE3.
