1996!!! what an year to the Sri lankan Cricket. We change the ODI cricket format. We show the world who we are and what we can do.

bt on that time we didn't have any world ranked players.. Bt we had some players who play for team.. look at the team spirit. all are like brothers.. They Play for their team . not for their individual records...

But today...

We have world ranked players.. Best spinners!! Best Batsman's!!!! But still we loose the games!!!

Why is That?????

Because Now all are playing for money. Not our Country!!!

See how our current team running between wickets. Someone call, and another say no, then yes again.. what a mess...

This clearly show that they didn't even play with each other....

They are only focusing on their individual records. But Still couple of players like Sanath and Mahela, Kapugedara, Chamara Silva, Vass play for the team... ( this is my idea)

Why can't Others play like them...!!!!!

We need a team like 1996.

Sanath and Kalu opens the batting.( gave reasonable start. at least 30 runs)
then

Gurusinghe ( Power Hitter, With a Chewing gum in his mouth.. Make his eyes small and Stand and deliver lolz )

Then
Legend Aravinda ( Best Batsmen sri lanka ever produced. Take no presser on him.. play his natural game.. doesn't consider the name of the bowler. He keep producing runs with delightful strokes all over the ground. never let Bouncer to pass him. he hit it for 6. that how he is. he answer every question from his bat not from his mouth)

Then
Arjuna ( Captain Cool!!!!! Man who eat sheep( Shane Warn says this) Keep push for singles. never run.. always walk in the pitch.. with a beautiful smile on his face.. Take no presser on him.. always do his job..)

Then
Mahanama ( Another ledgend in Sri Lankan Cricket. Best fielder in Sri Lanka. Always play hi natural game. bit aggressive.. always check his bat grip by kissing it.. lolz. so dedicated for his work.Even he would die for talking a catch.. Bat trough out the innings.. but he need a runner after he is tired.. because he got a problem in his nee... But still he continue because he want to play for his team)

Then
Hashan ( who save most of the matches for Our team When we going to loose)

This only the batting.....!!!!!!

All the bowlers are on the spot from the begging... no No balls. nO wides.. Because they know what is their responsibility, they now they are the national team.. They know all the nation is depend on them..... Only Thing They know Is CRICKET!!!!!!

Nuwara town ekama curfew dala wage palui hawasa 3ta withara. gedara duwala kastiya okkoma set una alapu gedara mokada ehe kastiya wadi nisa. re dinner walata ee gedara kastiya haduwe pizza. okkoma elatama giya. thamath mathakai eeye wage.
