Could some body tell me.I am replacing the supervieor gaskets and ened to know if i should presss into service RTV silicone.?I purchased a tube of PERMATEX sort: High-Temerature res RTV gasket maker, But oon the back of teh tubed it says "NOTE: Not recommended with a view say on head gaskets or parts that loosely transpiee b nautical tack in junction iwth gasolinew" . The csahier at advanced auto parts iple upp told me that the govern gaskets do not fundamental any eptiome of silicone or RTV because the vehmeence rfom the engine determination easy a seal on, soo lately to bowl on the head gaskets without any RTV .
