I just installed KDE..but now I can't play youtube videos..blank black space appear...What can I do?
Do I need to install flash restricted package!?

If you're on Debian/Ubuntu/Any other Debian based distro, install the flash player from the non-free repos.
Else download the flash player for linux from the adobe site install that.

This will be the best thing to do but it needs proper planing and implementation. Hope the local FOSS and LUG is involved in making sure that FOSS is introduced at schools.

Many of you may know abt "Virtual machine". If u r familiar with this, u don't wanna read it.

What is Virtual Machine?
Virtual machine is discribed as a computer within your computer. It shares current resources of your computer like RAM, Hard disk and processing to create a new machine virtually so you can install any os in it without worrying about your current os.

Installing VirtualBox!

go to http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads and download the package for your current OS. Yes it is cross platform, thats why it is called Open Source

There is a detailed guide for installing Virtualbox and installing an OS in it. Here is the link http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/2.1.4/UserManual.pdf

I recommend to try linux through this for newbies. Feel the power of Open Source.
