yes, I posted this on 05-22-2009,the day after the site got hacked. its okay now.
Some may think this so called "Zonta" hacker as a hero. But what's the use of breaching a vulnerability on a government site - a site that is useful to people?? if someone really wants to prove their penetration skills they should aim at some site that is harmful or a nuisance to the world. like a terrorist site. or site that promotes and encourages terrorism. Zonta or whatever that group is they might just be a bunch of worthless script kiddi3z with time to waste. if this group happens to be Sri Lankan's they could have done much more useful things with their skills.
The thing is hacking is not that hard now a days. people who call themselves hackers are not really IT experts like it used to be. And people who are really "Ethical Hackers" do not go around attacking useful or innocent websites. There are many websites nowadays that provide exploits and fingerprinting techniques, as well as automated-exploitation tools. If you like security, learn to code and learn security as a profession and don't become a 'vandalizer' of innocent website. it's pointless and u'l become a hero only to idiots who know nothing abt ethical hacking
