He is the GOD for buddhists

not god machan..budha is an example...a humen who discovered truth & wanted others to follow him..buddha never asked to worship himself..he said follow my path & seek the truth...by the way end of the day all are the same..im a chatholic..muslims also have the same book & same beliefs as the past Christians.Kuran is almost same as the old bible...salath is also there..where u have to pray..then there are many thins similer..but after jesus the bible changed..so i think Muslim's religion & our is the same thing..many people say so..& from the thins i hear about kuran & bible its the same...im talking about the old bible..so what im trying to say is we all are truth seekers & we all should do the right thing..bedila randu wenawa hugak aya religon gana kiyagena..eth eyalata ehema karanna kiyala eyalage founders kiyala naha..thats the joke...

If I’m wrong you can correct me!

In the first place I want to say is that according to Buddhist philosophy we are all human beings! So we are living in Sri Lanka is of course, but remember we are living in this world!

About Lord Buddha, according to me Buddhism is not religion and it is philosophy and Lord Buddha is neither a god nor a messenger of god! As we believe whether it is Jesus (PBUH), Lord Buddha or Muhammad (PBUH) we all are human beings and the creature of god!

God send people to earth to guide the human being to the right path! So it can be Jesus (PBUH), Lord Buddha or Muhammad (PBUH)! But never god guides us to believe not in god!

What do Muslims think about Buddha? I would like to know what they think about buddha? they surely can not say that Bhuddha sent from God or Buddha is a Messenger B'coz Buddha himself denied that he is from God or anything ? IS there many more path to the salvation ? can we think that if you don't b'live in God Ok fine you can become Buddhist and attain Nirvana? As fas as I know holy Quran does not say abt Lord Buddha? Buddha Said that is the only way , Jesus Said I am the Way there is no other, Quran Says There is no one but Allah ?

Wht doest it mean ? All are same or Different ?

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH MOST GRACIOUS AND MOST MERCIFUL​

i. Messengers were sent to every nation to guide them to Path of Allah:

وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولاً أَنِ اعْبُدُواْاللّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُواْ الطَّاغُوتَ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى اللّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْحَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلالَةُ فَسِيرُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَانظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَعَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ

And verily We have raised in every nation a messenger, (proclaiming): Serve Allah and shun false gods. Then some of them (there were) whom Allah guided, and some of them (there were) upon whom error had just hold. Do but travel in the land and see the nature of the consequence for the deniers! (Qur'an 16:36)

ii. Messengers warn them to follow Allah’s commands and gave them glad tidings:

إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَبِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا وَإِن مِّنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خلَا فِيهَانَذِيرٌ

Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. (Qur'an 35:24)

Messengers of good cheer and of warning, in order that mankind might have no argument against Allah after the messengers. Allah is ever Mighty, Wise. (Qur'an 4:165)


SOME ISLAMIC SCHOLARS ARGUE THAT IN THE AL QURAN THE WORD DHUL KIFL IS REFERING TO BUDDAH. IN ARABIC KIFL MEANS KAPILAVASTU IT IS THE PLACE BUDDHA BORN. BUDDAH IS NOT A ORDINARY HUMAN BEING AS FAR AS I CONCERN. HE MAY BE A NABI / RASOOL / ANBIYA OR AWLIYA OF ALLAH ALMIGHTY.

As per my view, I Respect Lord Buddha as Buddhists follows his teachings.(Sorry if im wrong) I respect just as and I expect the same in return. I respect each others beliefs and I am not the one who criticize those things.

Normaly we know about our religion but we ddnt have got a chance to study abt otherreligons. So then its very hard to tell about oter religon without knw that.
As a Buddhist i can say that buddhisumhe give man to think free while teling him woth the truth and wot will hapen we do good things and wot will happen we do bad things, its also tel the way to serch for nibbana the way to obtain the permanant release from the Sad.
these r not the ruls. so any one can follow it or not
and this is not a religon so any one can follow it...
so any one can follow t even the muslims,cristians etc. the only thing they canot rech the nibbana but they can follow other things in their life .

There is no 1 certain god in our philosophy, We believe in reincarnation and believe that all living beings can become gods, yaksha or any other kinds of beings, good or bad (refer the chart posted in this thread earlier) who live in parallel worlds, it depends on the hethu pala dahama AFAIK, if you do good things then you gain kusal or if you do bad things you get the bad results.
it is like in newtons third law(eg : for your understanding), you do something then you get the same effect.bt it isn't easy as that when learning dhamma. you have to think deeper and deeper to reveal the truth.

some say those parallel worlds with less or more dimensions than ours (we are 3 dimensional rite) , even i don't understand this concept as I'm a normal human being
To understand Dhamma or the nature we must have a superior brain power which we must gain by hard work(that is why meditation is there to concentrate)
