No, not yet. Didn't tell dad yet. I can buy this no problem (got the $$$ ;)), but then I will lower my chances of buying a DX10 video card :( Anyway, I don't think I will be able to play games much in the final year of Uni, so I'm leaning towards the monitor. Let's see how it turns out.

BTW, this is the only DVI monitor I could find at Unity :S
    Unity is sunk!

well if i'm on a CRT 15", 17" then i'll go for a good 19" LCD before an DX10 VGA. I will only give RAM some priority than this kinda monitor change.

I'm still in dilemma. I need both the monitor and the video card :(

Anyway, the good thing is that I can transfer this monitor to the other PC which dad is currently using, without having need to sell it, throw it away or keep it unused :)

they give the drivers for monitors these days.I tink u should install them.Bcose its good if ur doing graphic art works. In the drivers they give the monitor's color management profile.Thats plays a important role in Photoshop color management.

Looks awesome  and proves you are rich  :D

But is response time 5ms ok for gaming?
In that case, the same thing applies to my video card and integrated audio :D
I'm not rich, but I don't spend money I receive, except for PC parts :D
