i have one IP CAMERA which i can watch it from anywhere in the world ON MY PDA (when i have internet gprs on my pda)

my WAN IP (ex 80.37.xx.xxx.) is changing every week, so i need to set it up everytime on my pda (unless i update my wan ip via dyndns). so dynamic ip is not the best for that job (not like rapid share bonus )

many other servers and services need static ip to countinue without any problems

Iam sorry but you are wrong. ADSL is dynamic IP and chanels PPP(point-to-point)protocol over A (PPPOA)and if its more than 2MB its its PPP over E(ethernet). Well both are dynamic unless you request for a static. Dialup uses only a modem-to-modem link and uses TP line.

Anybody correct me If Iam wrong.

Static and Dynamic Ip address:
If your Ip address is a static ip address ,it will not change even you reset the modem or router..But dynamic ip address will change whenever you reset the modem or switch off and on the modem.. .You can check the Ip-address at Ip-details.com
