People who think like that are becoming an extinct species. Amardeva has the best voice an Asian male ever had. Even Greats of India has told this repeatedly. No one scored above him in Bhathkande university for vocals up to now in 50 years.
You have never studied SL music in detail. Kasun Kalhara represents the tip of the ice berg. Amaradeva, Sunil Shantha, Ananda Samarakoon etc. are at the heavy bottom of the ice-berg
No one will match Khemadasa with music, only AR Rahman will match him, he is just a genius. Please listen to his work and then comment. Looks like you have never listened to his full repatoire. And Amarasiri Peiris is SLs best vocalist because he sings with Khemadasa and able to handle that variety from "Sarala geetha" to Operas on Cantatas.
