I want to buy a 2.1 computer speaker sytem which is below than rs 5000.
what is the best brand?I like more bass.plz mention your speaker brand,model and price here and are u really satisfy about the sound quality.

Its a really good one with solid deep n warm base........i think u can find for about 5000 or so.......The 2 satellites sound is Transient......

i think if u r concern abt da sound effects u shud preferr smthing lyk 'altec lansing' ...i bought a 2.1 speaker system of altec lansing it cost abt4900 (in 2006)...the sounds are quality and clear ........if u want to see the my speakers go to altec lansing site(tower type speakers + subwoofer)u may find it easily....

mercury?? Dont waste your money.......SBS 370 will be better than a mercury which u can get for 4000......

in SL its the Altec Lansing Mx5021 make no mistake its the best...total power of 100W RMS the subwoofer is @ 50 watts with 6.5"" polypropelene woofer, two piano black satelites with silk dome tweeters, and four full range polypropelene speakers, wired remote and a infared remote, THX certified (means it can reproduce the sound of a movie just a it was in the recording studio)

ull have to listen to it to get the experiance..its such a superb product...i highly recomend it..its arround 13000 RS in Unity plaza, the shop is Mitech.
belive me when i say this this subwoofer has the best sounding satelites iwe ever encounterd...they are so well blanced...and the subwoofer delivers THX quality ground shaking bass (if u want more bass u got to have a creative Gigaworks 7.1 system but the sound quality is not good as the Mx5021) and u will need atleast a soundblaster live to enjoy this product...cuz normal onboard soundcards cant deliver the signal to noise ratio this subwoofer has (80db)...dont belive me just check out some ratings on the net

THX certified doesn't mean that its the best....it means that its good.........Yes the Mx5021 is the best 2.1 self amplified set you can get in SL........He mentioned that his bujet was ~5000/=........

i am using a creative 2100 2.1 sound system for last 3 years and still works with out a problem

if u want more bass u got to have a creative Gigaworks 7.1 system but the sound quality is not good as the Mx5021

More bass=Logitech Z5500 10' of pure bass(Although the creative ones produce more deep base)
And no S750 is far better than the Mx5021 as i have seen both in action.........
