Use the same download & use FDM and IDM to download it seperately from each other. IDM will show you very high speeds FDM will show you the true speeds. When the download is finished measure the time. you'll see that IDM takes a little more time than FDM. Now is this possible ??? IDM shows high speed and takes more time..
Ive shown this with proof in an earlier thread.
the you devide the size by fdm speed n you'll see its the reasonable avg time which is the actual time compared with the false speed shown in IDM.

its true... but IDM is very flexible when u need 2 select and queue lots of links at once... and even if you disconnected by slt after more than 10 hrs of connection... it'll connect it self and continiue its duty.... lol...
