What is the best Linux Os ?

i am a Windows user and also developing windows base applications.
so i used to work with window since ever,and pretty much familiar with it, i want to know what is the Suitable Linux os for a native Windows user like me.
Don't tell Ubuntu i just don't like it, there are few options i need a help to choose one,

Linux Mint , Fedora , PCLinuxOS ..

If you are good with terminal, knows the OS features, can compile a source code, then pretty much any OS from unix family will do the job.

If you are a noob, ubuntu is created for people like you...

Mint is basically Ubuntu with cinnamon DE. If you like mint have a look at this as well

well i have little working experience with ubuntu,it is user friendly more than i thought.
I am planning to use the Linux Os alongside with Windows.

mint eka godak user friendly kiyala ahala ty.. win walin convert wena kenekuta eka hodailu.. linux environment eka purudu kenekuta ubuntu hondailu..(ekakwath use karala na..)

i used almost every Linux OS, the best one i came across is Linux mint 15,way better than ubuntu
