IC amps have to much THD machan..
Also they have a low power consumption too..
But most of the high end amp have discrete transistors...

    well machan what you are telling is true when it comes to STK or such ICs vs transistors. But there are much better ICs than STK and high end amps use ICs and transistors in combination.

    yeah..
    but the power amp has..
    most of the time transistors..
    IC's are used to do enhancements..
    to the output..
    and they give a option to bypass all IC's and..
    output a natural sound with low THD..
    :)
