What is your Internet Connection? (I want some information for my school project!!)

    But their salaries are more than ours. I think it's a lot cheaper with respect to the salaries.

    same as our admin plus i use dialog gprs when i'm on the go the best speed on gprs i've got is around 5K its the same for the dialup too using their accelerated dialup number

    ISP : Lanka Bell
    Connection : BELL Net
    Charges : No Rental. 100 hrs free for each month + Phone's call charges.
    (in cheap hours Rs 0.11 for a minute+start-up fee Rs3.00)
    Speed : 15~18KBs in the morning. In the night (like 9.00~10.00p.m.) Connection is Worse.

    Hehe. I trained at SLT for 22 weeks. That's how I know about these stuff.

    through ADSL ( connected to local area connection)

    Speed: 100 mbps

    Payments: 2500/=

    from home:

    normal SLT dial up connection

    payments: SLT phone bills + SLTnet cards

    no idea about the speed

    100Mbps is the LAN speed, not the internet speed.

    Speed: 100 mbps (LAN) , 512kbps down & 128kpbs up

    Payments: 2500/=

    Through home:

    WoW prepaid dial up connection

    payments: SLT phone bills + WoW cards

    speed : 48-56kbps

    My connection is different than Others....... It's a satellite connection !! Have good Speed !!! but It's Changing....... Max. D/w Speed is 512 kbps !!! but i dnt know it's uploading speed correctly !!! :( :( :(
