Crack mean, Do you have a Pirated Copy of WinXP???
there r not many ppl here to crack windows. They must have used a serial.Remember Win XP activates features due to the serial. So use a good serial.

Genuine XP pro SP2. not a bad OS i must say
Yeah!they released it in 2001 with about 1 year gap from 2000.And It did hold up for 5 years with only 2 SPs.Vista would hav more features as the time it had taken. But I wonder they invented whole new things for the upcoming one with this.like 95--->98 there were lots of release dates..

XP doesn't activate features with the serial. You can't put a XP Pro key in XP Home to make it XP Pro. You have to have XP Pro. Not sure the other way round. But it's a stupid thing if you want to make your Pro CD a Home CD. (However, Vista works like you said. All the editions are there in the DVD. The serial number determines which edition you've purchased)
But the WGA checks the serial key. If it's not a blacklisted key, it will conclude that Windows is genuine.

for this enabling core system performance hack will do something. It will load many things on to memory,so XP would run faster.
That still doesn't make it completely responsive as Vista. If you really want to do that in XP, you have to disable pagefile, disable paging executive (a.k.a core system performance hack) using regedit & allocate more RAM to System Cache (a.k.a. "LargeSystemCache"="1"). Then it will work great. But if you run out of RAM, then you're stuck. But in Vista, you get the same performance, but still have the pagefile to back you up.

Well, Vista didn't bring up most things as well expected. However, service packs for Vista will bring more functionality (maybe SP2). XP has only 2 service packs because they (Microsoft) allocated more resources to Vista. There are a lot of updates coming up still.

    Does it Reliable ?
I think OS upgrading is not Sure...
How long you've used your System after that Upgrading???
I don't like upgrading either. I don't even install a service pack to an OS. I slipstream it to the Windows CD and install from the scratch. Good thing that we don't see new service packs that often :D
