I'm using WindowsXP with Service Pack 2...
That's da Maximum OS for my Computer...
Beyond OSs like Vista are only Dreamz...
That's not too bad. XP will still hold its position in the OS world for quite a long time.

Vista makes sense if you have a fast PC with a highend video card (to use the hardware accelerated GUI), 1GB or more RAM (to use them efficiently because XP or any other OS previous to that doesn't use RAM efficiently), have a ReadyBoost supported flashdrive (to speed up things) and most importantly a DirectX10 supported video card (which I don't have either).

will VISTA cr8 a Revolution???

I think Vista won't be a revolution like WinXP.
because there were ugly GUIs in past OSs.
Win XP made it more beautifully. Vista's GUI is only a modify of WinXP GUI.

   Pls notice I haven't used VISTA yet. so I don't know how is it's Perfomance & Hardware support etc; I've only seen it's Scren Shotz...

Vista is revolutionary, but it's too late. Vista uses all your hardware efficiently.
1. You have your video card doing nothing most of the times. On Vista, it's doing almost all the GUI rendering.
2. Say you have 1GB of RAM in your system. How much does XP use? 400MB? And still, when you try to bring a background app to the foreground, it is very slow. Why? Because it has paged the app the disk. That's no good. You have 600MB RAM left and still it's not used! WTF!!! In Vista, the OS uses all your RAM. If you have 4GB of RAM, it will use all 4GB. It will intelligently clear the RAM when a new program requests RAM.
3. Generally, the speed is higher than XP, but you have to give Vista some time to adjust itself for the users' usage patterns.
These are the main things that I like about Vista.

for this enabling core system performance hack will do something. It will load many things on to memory,so XP would run faster.
