An Amawessa Ranaviru Adishtana pooja to honour them will be held at the Vihara Maha Devi Park, Colombo on February 14 at 2.00 p.m. The Jaathika Sangha Sammelanaya, (National Sangha Conference) which has organized the ceremony requests participants to attend the event dressed in white and carrying lotus flowers.
Amawessa has succeeded in opening the eyes of the minds of many youths who would otherwise have fallen victim to Valentine's Day sales gimmicks that have sometimes led young people asray.
