If you suddenly had 10 million LKR in your bank account today, what would you do with it?

Would you

1/ Pay off loans or credit cards
2/ Buy land or build a house
3/ Start a small business
4/ Invest in stocks, fixed deposits, or government bonds
5/ Keep part of it as an emergency fund
6/ Spend on travel, education, or something fun

I am trying to learn how people think about money and long term security in Sri Lanka.

yep, that's why 1st point is buy a land for residential. Priority doesn't mean I do it first. It means I work for that goal. Understand the comment first dude. first row is the general answer explaining his question why I utilize money as below and number points are how I utilize them to achieve my goal as described in the first row.
