What's your views about Commercial Bank Srilanka that Sucks..

I have a same kind of experience. I went to them for a credit card and they offered me a limit which is even lower than my salary. What the hell?

And also got to know that if I know someone INSIDE i may be able to increase the limit.

I went to HSBC and got the card with a limit around 3 times as my salary.

but if you use the Credit card few months then you can request for increase credit limit.

I am a customer of Commercial bank for more than 8 years. So far no problem. I deal with them internationally. I think it depends on the attitude of the people in the branch. For me no problem so far.

Why should I request and bother? and waste my valuable time begging? They should have given it directly to me.

HSBC offered acceptable limit of credit and also they increased it several times even without requesting. Also would like to mention that my salary is not going to them.

I also maintain accounts with Sampath bank and their service is also really good.

this is my second experience on them
have u ever ask for a personal Loan?. My account is more than 5 years old and & i got Rs 18000 of monthly salary but you never cant apply for even 50,000 from them They reject like Piece of Shet ,and they even dont like to talk with less salary customers what is the purpose of depositing your money on their accounts if we cannot get even such small amount.

what kind of fuc..ing bank that treat like me to lower class customers...like us ..I am closing my account on them

I think they have some rules to issue personal loan..
Anyway try Sanasa or Grameeya Bank for your problem.. They issuing loans in short period and salary is not a big issue for them.

Commercial Bank is rated as the number one for a long time & It is a 100% Srilankan bank which operates in foreign countries too.Also it's the only bank from SL which went to the first 1000 banks list of the world.The example you took is not a very good one.He may not have a job.But he should certainly have some income brr else bank will be @ credit risk.If it is a "Dansala" then ok

Commercial bank is the Best bank in sri lanka for More Than 13years.

Its in world's top 1000 banks too

Or else go to HSBC you can get excelent customer service

as I know you can take 80 - 90 % values as loan if you have a deposit
