The more I think of it more I wonder what everybody sees so special about this film. Of coz being a true story give it strong magnitude. They tried to build intense but we know whats gonna come up in the end so not that successful.

If you want another one similar to this film which is a true story and clandestine op, watch "The debt"

It has even a good character development whereas Argo has next to nothing.

However Argo is little bit factful .

Yes its true "The Debt" has a good character development than "Argo", and Helen Mirren's and Sam Worthington's actings are superb.
But I think we cannot say Ben Affleck's directing and acting as "Tony Mendez" is not good. for being a director that has not much experience in directing(this is the 3rd movie) I think he has done a pretty good job(he has two golden globes for this, Best Director and Best Motion Picture Drama).

OK friends.. It's kinda difficult for me to select which one I should watch tonight. Specially, when there are about a hundred movies in selection. I will mention some of them here. So, if you can help me to select one, that would be great. Specially, from anyone who've watched any of these. I've some of them in my mind right now, one of which I might watch. Those are in bold text. But still, a bit indecisive. ;):D

    A Clockwork Orange [1971]
    All the President's Men [1976]
    Annie Hall [1977]
Apocalypse Now [1979] (Not da "Redux" version)
    Battle Royale [2000]
    Brick [2005]
    Eden Lake [2008]
    Hotel Transylvania [2012]
    In Darkness [2011]
    Amelie [2001]
My Week with Marilyn [2011]Peepli Live [2010]
    Sin Nombre [2009]
    The Graduate [1967]
