The more I think of it more I wonder what everybody sees so special about this film. Of coz being a true story give it strong magnitude. They tried to build intense but we know whats gonna come up in the end so not that successful.
If you want another one similar to this film which is a true story and clandestine op, watch "The debt"
It has even a good character development whereas Argo has next to nothing.
However Argo is little bit factful .
I will mention some of them here. So, if you can help me to select one, that would be great. Specially, from anyone who've watched any of these. I've some of them in my mind right now, one of which I might watch. Those are in bold text. But still, a bit indecisive.

Out of known films, I heard Sin Nombre is good.
A clockwork orange.
You cant go wrong with Kubrick..
