Nolan's movie ended with batman officially dead. So supervillans wont be bothering him while he's enjoying the sun and cat booty in france.
In the comics, he really did die and the first Robin, who later became Nightwing is the new Batman and Batman's son is the new Robin. Nolan made sure the second part never happens as he killed off Talia Al Ghoul, the mother of Batman's son.

that seems to be related to the Dark Knight Returns animated movie. It does match the premise of that one.
If you havent seen it, its the adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel and part 1 is already available at piratebay. Part 2 will be released next year.

I don't know what to tell about this, it wasn't necessarily bad (or good). It could have been much better though. It's good in a conceptual level, because it sets in future all the things that come along with it.
Main character's comeback-lines and wit is kind of try hard, though I liked some!

Gotto read those comics from the beginning. One of my friend whos very familiar with them told me that once Batman defeated Superman single handed. Hence the image I posted above

thats in Dark Knight Returns. Not defeated but did come extremely close.
That graphic novel totally kicks ass. Damn sight better than Dark knight rises. You'd know just how much Nolan fucked that movie up if you read that book.
